‘Through the Lens’ is a photography project comprising of workshops, a competition and an exhibition. It also involves the Award winning music photographer Andy Earl who has 120 sleeves and 20 videos for musicians such as The Rolling Stones to his credit.
.
The workshops we are running will culminate in a photography competition in conjunction with the Daily Echo with the theme ‘Bournemouth through the lens’ that encompasses Bournemouth’s residents views of the town and supports the 200th anniversary of
Bournemouth. The competition entries will be part of a curated exhibition along Bournemouth historical landmark the Pier, during the Re: Bourne Arts and Culture Festival.
We will be holding an awards ceremony in ‘Aruba’, overlooking the Pier exhibition, with the workshop photographer sharing his experience throughout the project and guest speaker Andy Earl. All advertisers and supporters will be invited to this with their donations on display.
