Hi All regular Pier to Pier swimmers, I have just received details for this years charity swim.
Please note that BHF are demanding a £60.00 donation as well as the £10.00 entrance fee to be paid before the start date.
I was always of the mind that charitable giving was voluntary, seems I am mistaken.
How do you view this unreasonable demand?

I feel to be fair, I must declare that I have now received E-mail from organisers saying "we have decided that we will not be asking for any sponsorship before entering the event & will certainly not be giving places away if people do not raise any sponsorship"
