Ice Skating!

Ok Folks i know that we currently have the temporary ice rink at the BIC but dont you think its about time we got a decent sized ice rink back in the town. I was gutted when Ice Trax at tower park closed its doors ............anyone else think we should have a permanent one here?

Hello Yes I so agrre with you Ice Trax was the best, we definately need a permanent ice rink.

I don't like ice skating but agree the town does lack family orientated facilities not just for the holiday makers but us who live here all year round.Maybe we should get a petition started.

Im not a fan of ice skating but its poor that the town does not have a proper rink for people that do like it

Thats a very good idea, something for the family to do on holiday, but whrere do u put it? in the current dis-used purpose built ice rink on westover road? why not poole or christchurch. and can you see the council paying out there much loved pennies in order to get the venture of the ground. It would be nice to see, but i wont hold me breath.
